Our primary staff have varied and impressive backgrounds in their respective areas of expertise. Their shared interests and expertise led to the creation of SPECIEZnm, Inc. and its mission:

The mission of SPECIEZnm is to provide New Mexico wildlife biologists and environmental professionals with the timely, best-available information about our state's wildlife species. Additionally, we want to support an awareness and understanding of listed and sensitive species that will lead to conservation of our wildlife resources.

Their abilities are reflected in the documents, data, and structure of this website. Janelle Harden and Anne Russell are available for contract work on environmental compliance projects. For example, they can provide:

• Combined county tables if your project spans several counties and you'd prefer your biologists make better use of their time
• Technical writing, e.g. the T&E Species portion of your “Affected Environment” section

They also have graphics capabilities that could be very valuable to your projects. Each webpage and individual document on this site is an example of their artistic talents. Janelle has been providing graphics and publishing services to the environmental community since the early 1990s. Anne's expertise lies in GIS map design and the visual display of environmental spatial data.
